I am a full-time, committed and experienced tutor who specialises in Secondary School Math and Science and A level Chemistry I have a BSc in Chemistry from NUS and have been a tutor since 1994 (full-time since 2002) I am also an adjunct polytechnic lecturer since 2006 For the last 2 years, I have also trained students in preparing for the Maths Olympiad I am familiar with the MOE syllabus and I believe in empowering my students to take charge of their learning so that they may perform well In my sessions, I identify areas/topics which students find difficulty in, I summarise the key learning points before moving to questions I observe when students attempt questions so that I am able to correct any conceptual errors and if needed, I will review the topic again My students find these 1-to-1 or small group sessions helpful as they are able to get the help and attention they need in order to prepare them for the examinations Sessions can be conducted at students' home Do feel free to call me if your child is having difficulties in their studies
